Meditative Dance™ for the Caregiver creates a space and special time for the caregiver to give care to themselves. Being a caregiver, it is easy to forget to schedule time for your own self care. Meditative Dance™ will provide a time for your body and mind to heal and restore. Connect with other caregivers and leave with the positive energy of the group.

Meditative Dance™ for Parkinson's is a specialized class with slow, flowing movements to help the student come back into their body. The dance movements can awaken the muscle memory in the body and students will be surprised at how they are able to dance again! Students can start lying down or sitting - this class is always what works best for the student.
I love Jenny's Meditative Dance classes, she brings such a calm and peaceful energy to each class. The meditation typically brings tears to my eyes and transports me to a loving, healing place. I love the dance portion of each class, I am allowed to fully let go and release anything that my body has been holding. The positive affirmations at the end make me feel stronger. I am so grateful for Jenny and this amazing class.

Jenny is the best ballroom dance instructor. She can demonstrate both the leaders and followers steps in a manner that makes them easy to learn and practice. She is energetic, encouraging, and patient with us when we don't "get it", paying individual attention to each of us when we need it. My wife Debbie and I have really enjoyed her classes and feel that we've made a lot of progress thanks to her amazing teaching style.

Jenny is a great dance teacher. She has taught us many dances - Waltz, Foxtrot, Rumba, Cha Cha, Tango (our favorite), and others. She does a great job - from the basics breaking down the steps into understandable pieces and repeats instructions when needed. When we were preparing for our dance exhibition, she spent much of her time preparing choreography at her home and sending videos to us between onsite practices. We have a wonderful time in class with her because she's so enthusiastic about teaching dance. We have also attended her dance fitness class. Her approach makes exercise fun.

I had never taken a dance lesson before taking lessons with Jenny. I was nervous as I feel like I do not have great rhythm, Jenny immediately made me feel welcome and comfortable. The classes are fun, Jenny always encourages her students to go with the flow and not get bogged down with the steps right off the bat. She always tell us "muscle memory" will catch up with us and she is right! I am not saying we are ready for Broadway, but we feel and look great. I would highly recommend Jenny as a dance instructor; you will not regret it!

Meditative Dance has been a wonderful escape for me. I have Parkinson's Disease and therefore, my ability to move and dance is very limited. I love Meditative Dance because it takes me away from my pain and brings me great joy. I am able to start laying down with a lot of comfortable pillows. I enjoy the meditation and I am even able to dance while lying on the mat! I start to move my arms and my body feels alive again, my spirit feels alive. I sometimes can stand and this is amazing. I am so grateful for this experience.
